JQuery selectors and spaces in ids

I know that the general response to the question about using JQuery selectors for node ids that have spaces in them is to not have spaces in ids.  According to the HTML specification, spaces are not allowed.

ID and NAME tokens must begin with a letter ([A-Za-z]) and may be followed by any number of letters, digits ([0-9]), hyphens ("-"), underscores ("_"), colons (":"), and periods (".").

New Year Dinner

Below is the menu of a recent dinner party that we had on 2nd January.  I thought it would be nice to record the event as I'll never remember the wines or the order that we had them.

Orablog to Apollo

I am in the process of moving my blog/site over to Fife Communities Apollo platform. I expect it to look worse than normal during the transition.

With time I hope to add more features and feeds. This may help me update and add articles and other ramblings more often.

This could spell the end of orablog.

Debian and ant: No supported regular expression matcher found

Another one of those "why is this thing not working in Debian!" problem.

The answer is:

apt-get install ant-optional

Why or why is ant not fully installed with the ant package?

Urgh!
